ADULT SURF LESSON
- Total Duration: 1.5 hours.
- Private Instructor.
- Surfboard & Wetsuit Provided.
ADULT SURF LESSON DESCRIPTION
At the start of the beginners surf lesson students are explained the basics of surfing this is taught on the beach where the beginners surf lesson will be conducted.Once the beach practical’s have been explained students will go surfing and put into practice the fundamentals explained to them from the beach component of the class.
TOPICS COVERED IN OUR ADULT SURF LESSON
- Identify the types of waves suitable for surfing
- Surfing hazards – what to look out for
- Surf equipment and clothing
- Wave identification
- Find a good wave to take off’s
- Choosing the right surf conditions
- Correct laying positioning
- Correct paddling technique
- Achieving the correct standing position
- Dismounting a surfboard safely
- Choose a safe place to enter the water
- Safe surfboard handling
- Surfing etiquette
SURF LESSON PLAN
EACH LESSON IS 1.5 HOUR
First 10 minutes – Surf safety and theory.
Second 20 minutes – Beach practicals
Go surfing – 50 minutes.
Drink break – 10 minutes.
Finish.
NOTE: If you want to extend a lesson time Additional charges may have to payable.
